Corrections & Retractions Policy

Our commitment to public accountability, prompt error rectification, and permanent revision transparency.

Our Commitment to Truth and Accountability

PremLal News is committed to complete factual accuracy. When an error of fact, technical misinterpretation, benchmark discrepancy, or typographic oversight occurs, we acknowledge and rectify it promptly, visibly, and transparently. We do not silently overwrite errors.

How We Classify and Handle Corrections

1. Factual Corrections (High Impact)

If an article contains a substantive factual error (such as an incorrect transistor density, erroneous CVE CVSS score, or misinterpreted benchmark metric), we update the text immediately and place a highlighted Correction Notice at the top or bottom of the article stating:

"Correction (November 4, 2026, 14:00 IST): An earlier version of this article misstated the interface width of HBM4 as 1,024 bits. It has been corrected to 2,048 bits in accordance with JEDEC standards."

2. Clarifications (Contextual Refinement)

When the reported facts are technically true but may leave readers with an incomplete or misleading impression, a clarification box is appended to supply further context.

3. Retractions (Unrecoverable Flaws)

In the rare event that a study, preprint, or reported vulnerability is proven fundamentally flawed or retracted by its authors, PremLal News will publish a formal retraction note explaining the withdrawal while preserving the historical record.
